I fished for four hours with Mr. Nieminen this morning. The weather on lake Toho was still cold, water temperatures had dropped quite a bit. We ended up catching 9 fish up to 4 1/2 lbs. We used golden shiners.
Due to the weather and water temperatures golden shiners have been the best way to catch big fish. Hopefully it will start to warm up fast. It was a good trip regardless of the weather.
My second trip***Brent & grandfather Mario
We went to the private lakes this afternoon. I fished with Mario Porscia and his grandson Brent (above pic). Fishing was average, we boated 10 fish up to 4 lbs. The cold front dropped water temperatures 12 degrees which made the fishing quite tough. All the fish were caught on golden shiners. Mario and Brent enjoyed the afternoon fishing.
